⚕️ Differently Abled? Scheiß Nein! ⚕️

Going to say it very clearly: Disabled people are not “Differently Abled”.

It’s not a special power, it’s not some magical happy-land fairy tale about inclusivity or whatever new language these people try to use to not feel bad about dealing with disabled people who have some manner of obvious suffering which separates them from the norm. There is no offset where I get a gold star on some other physical quality due to the negative black star from my physical disability. It’s just a negative, that’s it. There is no benefit to be perceived, and there doesn’t need to be.

Just call it what it is, what is has always been: a disability, a handicap. It’s fine to say it, it’s not an insult, it’s just reality.

It’s also not a big deal as long as I have specific technological assists in my life which negate the issue almost entirely. If not, well then I’d be broke, destitute, and a non-functioning drain on society. Changing the language won’t help, it won’t make it better, and more than likely it will only make things worse as it attempts to downsize the reality of the physical detriment. So no, you assholes, I am not “Differently Abled”.

I’m just glad that I wasn’t drowned in a river when I was born this way, like the norm was a few centuries ago. Though if I have to put up with these pandering morons who seek to diminish my disability by calling it by a softer-kinder term then maybe I should have just been drowned and spared the agony of their incessant smooth-brain blabbering.
